Great pictures! Seems like you are doing some truly meaning work for the residents of Canonsburg. It is wonderful to know that God is everywhere. I know you are seeing Christ in others and are reflecting Christ as well. Tell Deb that I am "blogging"!!!

Hi Everyone! (Youth and Chaperones)

Looks like you're working hard, getting a little dirty (paint splats here and there), sweating a tad, having fun and most of all, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus for Norma and the others you are working for. God bless each of you, and may you see Him many times this week! You're all in my prayers--chaperones, kiddos, and especially my prayer partner, GR - gee, that sounds like a roar, the roar of a tiger, GRRRRR!
Love to all, Sue/Mimi/Mom/Mrs. Higgins

To praise God because of who he is, rather than what happens to us, is a demonstration of faith that can move mountains and people. I hope to live inside out and upside down in our world by doing just that.

Your short essay has me pondering: What is rest? That's a tough one.

I remember a really quiet house on Sundays at my home when growing up. We didn't go to church, but we sure did observe a morning of quiet rest. That must have had some influence on my ability to enjoy quiet as an adult.

Follow-up questions could be: How do we teach our children what rest is? How much activity is too much? How do we say no to good things/events/activities with people?

Once again, living a Christian life finds me listening to the quiet voice of God and following the best I can.
