Backyard Missions connects volunteers from First Church with local residents who need occasional assistance. Most Backyard projects are short-term tasks to help residents maintain their homes and property. This includes yard work, raking leaves, snow removal and general household duties (spring cleaning, for example). Backyard volunteers will take on other tasks as appropriate and as they are able. There is no charge; all work is performed by church members who volunteer their time.
You do not have to be a member of First Church or any church to receive assistance. To request help, call or e-mail the church at 717.766.4611 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
