100 Year-Old Letter to First Church

without comments

[Contributed by Tom Mullikin]

As part of the Centennial Celebration of the Declaration of Independence in 1877, the town of Mechanicsburg invited a number of persons and organizations from the town to provide items to be sealed in an iron chest. This chest was to be opened 100 years later during an anticipated Bicentennial Celebration. New Community Site Theme

without comments

Don’t worry - you’re in the right place even though things look different. We’ve activated a new theme for the Community Site, so things that used to be on the right are now on the left (and vice-versa). The content and function are the same, though, and we hope you find this layout more useful than the old.
