There are 168 hours in a week. The typical follower of Jesus spends just one hour a week in church. What about the other 167?
The New Testament Book of James has been called the “handbook of practical Christianity.” Beginning in July, the pastors of First Church will present “James: All Day, Every Day,” a 12-week sermon series with messages based on the Book of James. During this journey, we will discover how to follow Christ humbly, obediently, and with an open heart all day every day! Find the Daily Bible Readings for the month of July here.
All are invited and encouraged to attend. You do not have to be a member of First Church to enjoy this sermon series.
The sermons will be presented at the 8:15 and 11:00 Sunday morning worship services. First Church is now offering in-person worship. In order to provide a clean and safe environment, we have several hand sanitizing stations located in our sanctuary and will offer distanced seating, if requested. Our 8:15 a.m. service also can be viewed via livestream on our website and Facebook page or anytime later that week.
