Backyard Missions: Helping Our Neighbors:  Backyard Missions connects volunteers from First Church with local residents who need occasional assistance. Most Backyard projects are short-term tasks to help residents maintain their homes and property. This includes yard work, raking leaves, snow removal and general household duties (spring cleaning, for example). Backyard volunteers will take on other tasks as appropriate and as they are able. There is no charge to receive help from Backyard Missions; all work is performed by church members and youth who volunteer their time and service.  To request help from Backyard Missions, contact (717) 766-4611 or office@fumchurch.com. Recipients need not be a member of First Church or any church to receive assistance.
