This group also oversees other activities to promote the health of the church, such as offering flu shots in the fall, maintenance of first aid kits and the AED device, and establishment of an on-site emergency notebook.
Meal Ministry Team members prepare and deliver meals to church members during times of significant life transitions or health changes, such as upon the arrival of a new baby or during a time of significant illness or recovery.
Communion Stewards share communion with homebound members who are unable to be present in church on Sunday mornings when Holy Communion is offered.

Backyard Missions is a group that offers acts of service, such as yard work, household repairs, and painting, typically for individuals who are unable to complete these projects themselves for a variety of reasons such as illness, aging, and/or limited finances.
The Funeral Meal Team consists of a dedicated crew who plan, shop, prepare, and serve a meal upon request of a family following their loved one’s funeral service. In addition to the team working together in the kitchen, other members contribute desserts which they prepare at home and deliver for the meal.
The Prayer Team consists of church members and friends who are committed to praying for the outreach and ministry of First Church. Members pray at home, as well as gathering periodically to pray in community at church. Members also pray for special concerns which are shared via email, keeping concerns confidential upon request.
