Wonderful Wednesday

First Church will offer its popular Wonderful Wednesday family fellowship program again this fall, with a modified format to observe COVID-19 safety protocols. First Church will offer a fall Bible study based on the book, “Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation” by Latasha Morrison. Led by Senior Pastor Denny Keller, the study begins on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and will run for nine weeks. The group will meet via Zoom from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. All are welcome! Joy in the Morning

If you struggle with on-going health challenges, First Church invites you to join us for a new, spiritually-grounded support group beginning in January, Joy in the Morning. Based on the book, With the Dawn Rejoicing, a Christian Perspective on Pain and Suffering, the group will focus on sharing and encouraging one another to live with greater hope and peace while navigating health issues. Meetings will be held at First Church monthly on Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. beginning…

Gluten-Free Diet Health Lecture

First Church will host a health lecture on Choosing to Eat a Gluten-free Diet on Tuesday, Nov.10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom conferencing. Giant Foods nutritionist, Kilene Knitter, MS RD LDN, as well as a ‘panel presentation’ from First Church members who maintain a gluten-free diet will be our presenters.
