Why We Give
- God celebrates when we cheerfully give (2 Corinthians 9:7, Hebrews 13:15-16, Matthew 25:31-46).
- Giving to the Lord honors Him in our lives (Deuteronomy 16:17, Proverbs 3:9, James 2:14-17).
- God calls us to surrender every part of our lives to Him, including our finances (Matthew 16:24-28, Matthew 19:16-30, 1 John 3:16-19).
- Giving helps increase our trust in the God who provides for all our needs (2 Corinthians 9:8-19, Deuteronomy 15:10, Philippians 4:19).
- Giving blesses those who receive the blessings, and those who give (Proverbs 11:24-25, Acts 20:35, 1 Timothy 6:17-19)
