Mark your calendars — First Church’s popular Wonderful Wednesday program is returning, and it’s not just for kids!
Children, youth and adults are all invited to participate in this family fellowship and learning program. The fall session will run for six weeks from Oct. 12 through Nov. 16. The program begins at 5 p.m. with prayer and a family-style dinner in Fellowship Hall, followed by small-group learning for all ages at 6 p.m. The program concludes at 7 p.m.
This session’s theme, “Faith Foundation,” focuses on building a solid foundation of vibrant faith in Jesus. Together, we will center ourselves on Christ and learn how to practice our faith in a way that strengthens us and helps others to know Him through us. Groups will be offered for all ages:
- Children’s Study – for kindergarten-fifth grade (Childcare will also be offered for children under the age of 5). Contact Katie Knorr at kidscount@fumchurch.com for more details.
- Youth Study – open to all youth, but targeted to those seeking confirmation or desiring a deeper understanding or recommitment of faith. Contact Lisa Aronson at uthrock@fumchurch.com for more details.
- Young Adult/Adult Study – “Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table” explores the significance of the table set in Psalm 23. Contact Tina Eaton for more details at adultministry@fumchurch.com.
